I tried that and it crashes FireFox
my system:

Window XP SP2
Mozilla Firefox V 1.5.0.4 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4)

The plugin installed ok, it just crashes after about 3-4 seconds.

Subject: [webots-contest] Webots Player plugin on test on http://roboka.org

Hi,

We completed the port of the Webots Player plugin and set it for test on
http://roboka.org
Could please give it a try? It should be a child's play to setup. If
not, let me know.

This plugin should work for the following configurations:

1) Windows with Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
2) Mac OS X with Safari or Mozilla Firefox.
3) Linux with Mozilla Firefox.

Please note that it may also work on other Mozilla-based browsers (like
the monolithic Mozilla), but we won't support them officially.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, including success feedback ;)

Hi,

I believe I fixed that problem... Could you remove the plugin and
install it again? To remove it, simply delete either of the following files:

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\npwplayer.dll
C:\Documents and Settings\<your name>\Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\plugins\wplayer.dll

It is unlikely that the two files are present on your system, rather you
should have either the first one or the second one depending on your
admin rights when you installed the plugin.

Once deleted, you should quit Firefox and relaunch it. Then, you should
be able to see the "install" button again on http://roboka.org or
http://www.cyberbotics.com/wplayer/ Just follow the normal installation
procedure and let me know if Firefox still crashes (it doesn't crash any
more on my machine...).

Please let me know if that fixes the problem also for you!
